Overall very nice lamp. The Styrofoam packaging was effective but basically fell apart into static electricity little balls and was flying all over the place. Personally I would prefer the on off switch be on the base like they are in hotel room end tables. That would be easy to shut off when you are in bed and ready to go to sleep.
