Don't know if I truly needed this. The rug is big and heavy so dont think it's going to move. Kind of difficult to place under rug.

The rug we purchased is very low-pile, so we were concerned that a non-slip rug pad would be too thick and show under the area rug...or, if too thin that it would not keep the rug in place. Happily, neither was the case. This pad is perfectly matched to our area rug. Even though it arrived folded, when we laid it out the was no sign of creases that would compromise the look or feel of the area rug. Also, unlike many rug pads we've purchased over the years, this product is virtually odor-free!
