We bought this chair for my 86-year-old mother who is living in an assisted living facility. She is able to transfer into this chair from her wheelchair with ease. She loves the reclining motion and loves that she is able to transfer back into her wheelchair without a problem.

This chair was purchased due to necessity of surgery and needed a chair quickly. Price was within my budget and though it was not my 1st choice, it was the only one that i could get in time for my surgery. Purchased the Floor Model - on sale and was able to carry it home that day. got home no power cord, called store and they located and had it waiting for me within an hour of my call. Salesperson Charley was very helpful and patient. (much appreciated) have had it for a month and it is doing what i need. Most chairs had only the right side pocket but NO WARRENTY AS IS! so far so good/ i needed left side accessibility as i was having right shoulder replacement. store personnel was able to switch the remote to left side (thank you so much) the left side pocket is wonderful, i store the remote, my channel changers and my cell phone within easy reach. it is comfortable for sitting in for long periods and lifts smoothly to as standing position. My only issue is that it does not allow you to sit straight up with legs elevated, have to use a pillow behind back. love the usb port on the remote for phone. does not take up a lot of space. is holding up well under my weight and does not seem to have any strain on motors when lifting or reclining. as i am only 5'6" when chair is raised, it is hard for me to sit fully back in chair when getting in, but the legs are comfortable and do not put pressure on back of my heels when fully reclined (a plus) if you have long legs they will stick over the leg rest. it will do for now, but before my next surgery i will be purchasing the chair i really wanted. I will keep this as a chair for company who need the assistance getting up or may gift it to a friend when i get my new one.
