The grandkids haven't had the chance to use the beds yet but..they look absolutely great. There were a few issues putting them together. (We bought two of the beds.) One one, one of the ladder rungs wasn't drilled correctly and on the other one, one of the holes for the face of the lower bed didn't have a hole drilled at all in one place. Also there wasn't a SINGLE extra screw, nut, dowel or washer--so if anything happened..something was lost or a screw got stripped you were completely out of luck. Usually, you have a few extra pieces of hardware but not on this set. We were able to compensate for the issues but you shouldn't have to. However, as I said, they do look very nice. HOpefully, they hold up well, too.
